In October 2019, the Center proudly renamed its conference room (KRV 361) the John K. and Lyn Roth library in honor of the Center’s founding director and his wife. The library boasts a collection of more than 1,400 volumes of books and periodicals (much of which was directly gifted by Professor Emeritus Roth) and rare documentary films (donated by advisory board member Bonnie Abaunza P’18). The Center is regularly adding to this campus resource so that students and faculty may utilize this unique space as a reading library for research and curricular purposes. Furthermore, we have established a research fund for students and faculty to conduct annual research fellowships and to purchase needed books or films that will be deposited in the library.
